Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgable in selecting a new mattress! I explained what I was looking for, they guided me to several options throughout the store and then allowed me take my time laying on each one checking in and answering any questions I had along the way. They happened to have the mattress I wanted in stock and delivered it within a few hours! If you are in need of a new mattress highly recommend coming here over a big box store!

We went to investigate a split king adjustable bed. Paul K was the gentleman wh welcomed to us to the store. He then proceeded to discuss the pros and cons of different mfgs. He took us around sun allowed us to lay on many different mattresses to find one that we liked. I think he enjoyed showing us the different models and he answered all our questions. He also wasnāt trying to sell us a particular brand; he was showing us the different models and letting us make up our own minds. I would definitely recommend this business to family and friends.
SHOP HERE! This place is great! I donāt know why you would want to buy a mattress anyplace else. Paul and the rest of the guys are very friendly and helpful. You can even try your mattress out for 30 days and if you donāt like it come back and try another. They have great selection and I guarantee you will be treated well. They sure took care of me!

By far the BEST customer service Iāve ever experienced. When my mattress didnāt arrive on time from the distributor, the team immediately arranged for a āloanerā mattress to be delivered so I wouldnāt be left hanging. When the timeline was pushed again, they stayed in constant communicationāand instead of making me wait for the next shipment, they personally picked up the mattress themselves and delivered it the very next day. As a thoughtful gesture of apology, they even threw in complimentary sheets and pillows. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, personable, and genuinely cared about making the experience stress-free. Plus, the showroom is welcomingāwith complimentary drinks and a gaming corner to keep kids entertained while you shop. Truly above and beyond in every way.
I canāt recommend enough!!! I live across the country from Kansas City but I was recommended this business for buying a mattress through mutual friends. Henry was incredibly helpful, recommended mattresses based on my unique preferences, shipped the product the same day I ordered, and it arrived on my doorstep in less than a week. I cant even begin to say enough good things about this place. I found a mattress easy, they answered all my questions. Delivery is free and they hauled away my old mattress! They had told me they had my mattress in stock and realized that they didn't. So on delivery day they brought the floor stock mattress to my house to sleep on until I can get my new one and threw in a brand new bed protector. My bf had mentioned he was in the military when he saw a ruck sack in the store and they also gave him the ruck sack because my mattress wasn't available and they truly wanted to make it up to me. They had all kinds of cool military things in the store. Also, they give discounts for veterans and nurses :) This company is truly incredible. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me!! Will definitely buy from them when I need another mattress!! PS my mattress is incredible, my body hasn't felt this good in months! I love that they have selections from Midwestern companies including mattresses that come from Iowa and Oklahoma
Buying a mattress is a BIG decision because it's going to affect your sleep and well being for the next several years. These people went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that we picked the right bed for us. The sales floor staff and the delivery people couldn't have been nicer. The team at Mattress City, as well as their owner, Hank, are truly attentive to your needs and excel at customer service. When our mattress was delayed Hank reached out to us directly to rectify the situation. He was genuine and had amazing communication. We were perfectly fine waiting but he just went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. You truly canāt match this level of customer service many other places. It also didnāt stop with Hank. The delivery was phenomenal. The gentlemen were so kind as to move our old mattress to our downstairs for us, gave us helpful hints on how to put sheets on our split king, and were truly just the most pleasant people. The bed we got is great. But truly, itās the service you get here is what makes Mattress City a must stop at shop for all your mattress needs!
I had the BEST experience with KC Mattress City. Paul greeted me at the door and answered all my questions and he is very knowledgeable . Paul and Henry helped at checkout time with my new Talliston Hybrid BedTech adjustable bed. Mike and Aaron, very personable guys that did a great job delivering and setting up the bed. They even took away all the wrapping material. Iām sleeping better now in my new bed and with my Night Ice 3.0 pillow.
Recently moved into a house in the Brookside area of KC and one of the surprises of a 90 year old home was that the queen box spring wouldnāt fit up the stairs and I was left with an older queen sleigh bed without slats to support a mattress. I called KC Mattress and the very kind gentleman quickly found a solution, an X Platform that would easily solve my problem. He was right. It was easily delivered upstairs, unfolded and installed within the frame of the bed in under 5 minutes: sturdy and easily supporting the mattress. The added support is noticeable over the box spring. After days of searching for answers on the internet that ranged wildly in options and price, KC Mattress City solved my problem easily with a great price. And, the two gentleman who delivered the product were excellent, professional and very kind. I told them I would probably be in the market soon for a new mattress and they told me about all the options aI had and welcomed me come try them out. I HIGHLY recommend this local business and can guarantee they will be my only choice when I do need a mattress. Congratulations for a wonderful business!
Excellent selection and impeccable customer service. Hank was straightforward with answering any questions we had and fair in prices, no sales gimmicks whatsoever! We went with the crĆØme de la crĆØme, a 12.5ā all latex and have zero regrets. This was a creation of Hankās and it was worth every penny. No longer waking up with neck or hip pain, thank goodness! If you are in the market for a new mattress, this is the place to go. Thereās a reason they have been in business since 1988 and have exceptional reviews!
